CARE for local schools,
and each of our unique neighborhoods.
Our mission is simple: improve the quality of schools for students, and the quality of the community for residents.
CARE (Community Advancement through Renovation for Education) is a grass roots committee made up exclusively of parents and concerned members of our community who are committed to enabling improvements for aging OUSD facilities. Not one member of the core committee is in public office, stands to gain anything financially from a school bond (other than increased property values), or works for an entity that would be contracted by the district as part of the facility projects. Our focus is to educate the voters in our district to ensure that Measure S receives the support of the 55% of voters required for its passage on November 8, 2016 ballot.
Join the cause, change the future! CARE is seeking the talents of community members who are concerned about the negative impact aging facilities are having on student academic growth and local property values. CARE is a registered 501(c)4 non-profit organization established by concerned community members and parents representing schools across OUSD.
